Travel journals and transition tales towards an ethical and sustainable future

My name is Claire Blumenfeld and I have been running Peregrinus Mundi since 2015. This site follows the evolution of my life in the form of chapters. Chapters I to VI mainly present travel journals and photographs. Chapter VII follows my transition process towards a lifestyle based on ecology and well-being through three approaches that greatly interest me, permaculture, herbalism and eco-construction.

Nature and beauty – part 1

Nature is complex, diverse and beautiful. Taking a poetic approach, the new point of view reveals the beauty all around us.

In Spring 2020, while in Chamonix at the foot of Mont-Blanc, I observe the rebirth of nature and the profusion of colors. Fascinated by the shapes of plants and insects around me, I start photographing nature in close-ups. By being interested in shapes, details, colors, variations and blur, I seek to highlight the natural beauty of nature. Beauty that men do not necessarily see. Show nature from a different point of view in order to reveal all its diversity and complexity. A poetic and magnificent nature.
