[Work in progress]
After three years abroad, I missed the mountain landscapes of the French Alps. This is one of the things that I felt I was missing the most. When I decided in early August 2018, to return to France for a few months before continuing my trip, coming to Chamonix Mont-Blanc was an obvious decision.
The rugged mountains, covered with eternal snow where hiking mixes with mountaineering, the feeling of being on the roofs of the world, the winter atmosphere and a small town with Savoyard architecture. Arriving in Chamonix at the end of September, I was wondering how my new job was going to be, but as far as the location was concerned, I had no doubts. I was in the right place.
Since the two months that I am there, I lost myself during hours in the contemplation of the landscape around me. The mountains fascinate me. I have seen the colors slowly evolve from green to yellow to orange. Autumn has spread its arms over the valley covering it with beautiful colors.
