Hiroyuki Andô. 36 years old. He has worked for 10 years at TYK, currently in the Analysis Team. Andô-san is working with a scanning electron microscope (SEM). SEM is capable of producing high resolution images of the surface of a very small sample. The process is impressive but not very fast.
Mikiko Kawasaki. 44 years old. Native of Nagoya. She has worked for 10 years at TYK in the Analysis Team. she considers herself as 44 years old for body but only 20 for heart. Kawasaki-san has a green and yellow house painted by her family. At first she didn’t like the color, but now she has got used to it.

Shimon Ishimaru. 30 years old. He has worked for 8 years and a half at TYK in the New Material Team. Ishimaru-san does not have lunch at the refectory but prefers go eating a good dish of ramen in restaurants around the factory. But the lunch break lasts only forty minutes, so he has to eat very quickly.
Yasuta Koike. 58 years old. He has worked for 35 years at TYK. Koike-san is the leader of the Research and Development Center. He lived several years in Mons in Belgium and can speak a little French. Koike-san quickly replaced the honorific suffix -san after my name by -chan (Claire-chan), which could be understood as a mark of respect but much more gentle and kind than the honorific suffix -san, very formal.
The all team of the Research and Development Center.
